HopeTV     Watch Now

The Hope Channel is a Christian television network that seeks to bring everlasting hope to people around the world. We believe true inner peace and contentment is found in Jesus Christ. Our programming is designed to help people experience the abundant life that Jesus promised in John 10:10.

Our programs communicate our core beliefs from the Holy Bible: · God is love and He has revealed Himself in His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 4:16; John 14:9. · Jesus is the divine Son of God and is not a created being, but is the eternal God. John 1:1. · Jesus came to this earth to live a perfect life without sin and give His life on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. Romans 5:6-10. · When Jesus comes into our lives He makes us new creatures. 2 Corinthians 5:17. He writes His law in our hearts and we seek to live in a way that honors God. Hebrews 8:10; John 14:15. · Bible prophecy reveals that the end of this world is imminent and Jesus will soon return. Revelation 22:12. · Our mission is to help people prepare to not only live for Jesus in this world, but to also be prepared for His soon return. Revelation 22:17.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is profitable for correction, reproof, and instruction in righteousness. (See 2 Timothy 3:16.)

We believe that

Jesus

 is the eternal, self-existent

God

and is not a created being. Even though He is fully God, He took upon Himself the form of a man to live and die for our sins. We also believe that He rose from the dead three days later.

We believe that the penalty for man's sin was paid on the cross of

Calvary

in Jesus' death. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). By believing on

Jesus Christ

and accepting the grace of His shed blood, we receive the gift of

eternal life

. "Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:9).

Because we love Jesus for His sacrificial death, we want to obey Him as he commands in John 14:15. We are not saved by our works. But, because we are

saved, we choose to keep His commandments as the guide for successful living.

We believe that prophecy reveals Jesus is coming again very soon. (See Matthew 24:32-51.)

Our basic beliefs are condensed into five primary teachings, the five “C”s:

Christ—We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and fully God and fully man (See Hebrews 2). He is our ONLY means of salvation, and it is only by His grace and His grace alone are we saved. We can do nothing to earn our salvation.

Cross—Jesus' death and resurrection is our way to heaven. Because of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, we can be looked upon as perfect if we accept His atoning sacrifice in our behalf.

Creation—We believe in the unerring veracity of the Bible. It is the Word of God from cover to cover. This belief includes the literal interpretation of Genesis 1—that God created the heavens and the earth in 6 literal days and rested the 7th, and that the signs of His creative work exist in the natural world even today.

Commandments—Because of our love for Jesus and thankfulness for what He has done for us, we choose to keep God’s commandments (See John 14:15). This includes the Fourth Commandment, which tells us that we must keep the Sabbath on the seventh day.

Coming Again—We believe that Jesus is coming again in the clouds of heaven. As the Bible says, we will meet him in the air (See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

We believe in the principles of the reformation as described in its motto: Sola Scriptura, Sola Gracia, Sola Christos. We base our beliefs on the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as they adhere to the Bible and are set forth in the book Principles of Life. We believe the Bible is the guidebook through which all may find salvation and restoration and recommend it to be read slowly, prayerfully, and frequently.
